While i believe justin shultz is playing great, i wouldn't expect him to keep this points per game pace, or finally write him off as rookie of the year

Well he has maintained his pace through his last 2 years of college and in the ahl this year. I am not so sure his ppg falls drastically. I could easily see schultz with 40-45 points by years end.

If Omark's attitude didn't stink there might be a hockey player there. I was looking at the talent before, not the attitude. My bad.

The only team that may have interest in Omark is DET. He had great chemistry with Zetterberg and Brunner in Europe. I suggest to be patient up to the 10-13 game mark and see what happens with the team results.

Clouts isn't the only person guilty of crowning a paper Calder Trophy winner. Just because Tarasenko has scored a couple of pretty goals people have crowned him. After his first game people had announced that Huberdeau was the Calder favorite and he's gone 4 games without a point.

The first week of the season has barely ended and people are handing out trophies.
